Visiontrust is the brain-child of Hein Wagner. This fund is operated
& managed by Visiontree and we donate 10% of all our Booking Fees to
it.
Early on in his career Hein saw that the biggest issue for companies wanting
to employ Visually Impaired Persons (VIP's), was to supply the new employee with additional Enabling Technologies,
e.g.. computers with voice
support.
This is the primary focus...
Upon successful application a VIP candidate can now obtain these
technologies from the Visiontrust, without additional capital layout by the
employer.
As a contributor you can rest assured that the monies are distributed by a
company who, from personal experience, understands these obstacles and how
to address them.
This fund also serves as a vehicle for donations received as a result
of
Hein's Motivational Talks & his Daring
Adventures, like the Flight4Sight
campaign.
From 2008 we will donate 20% of the Visiontrust to other charities as
well.

In 2003, to celebrate the Bank’s 150th anniversary, Standard Chartered, in collaboration with leading eye care agencies, launched
Seeing is Believing with the aim of restoring the sight of 28,000 people across the world.
This staff-led initiative was so successful that Seeing is Believing now intends to deliver one
million sight restorations by the target date of World Sight Day
2007.
The next phase of Seeing is Believing will help 10 million people across 20 countries focusing on prevention and education as
well as sight restoration.
Visiontree supports this life- changing initiative through Hein's extreme
sport activities. He is as a regular, sponsored member of their Ironman &
Marathon teams, through which more funds are raised.
They are already helping save one million sights, help us to help them save
even more…
From 2008 we will donate 10% of the Visiontrust to this initiative.
